Welcome to the Poconos
Driving into the Poconos, the scenic beauty is immediately captivating. Rolling hills, dense forests, and crystal-clear lakes set the stage for a memorable getaway. Arriving at Serenité, you are greeted by an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance on the long driveway into the private property which blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The main entrance features a beautifully landscaped garden, setting a welcoming tone for guests.
Luxurious Accommodations
Serenité offers an array of luxurious homes, each meticulously designed to provide maximum comfort and privacy. The residences range from cozy one-bedroom cottages to expansive multi-bedroom villas, catering to couples, families, and larger groups. Each bedroom was a sanctuary in itself, featuring plush bedding, and en-suite bathrooms with soaking tubs.

I explored several of the trails on the property, but there are several more nearby including Bushkill Falls, often referred to as the "Niagara of Pennsylvania" and the Glen Onoko Falls Trail, which offers a more challenging trek with equally rewarding scenery. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is a short drive away. Here, you can enjoy activities such as kayaking, fishing, and bird-watching. The scenic drives through this area are also a must, offering panoramic views of the Delaware River and surrounding mountains. If you visit in the winter, there are several ski resorts close by including Camelback (6 min drive) and Jack Frost (30 min drive). There is plenty to do in the area year-round!

For a laid-back meal, I enjoyed Barley Creek Brewing Company, a local favorite known for its craft beers and delicious pub food.
